This is an opportunity for those people working in Poole to have some space and time out from the busyness of work and life in a beautiful and supportive environment. The programme includes a mix of led sessions and space for you to explore the estate or use the resources available for personal reflection. We are delighted to have Brother Sam from Hilfield Friary to share his insights with an application to work and life.

Work:space and Chaplaincy Wessex are pleased to be hosting a new course for employees in Poole called God@work. The course will explore issues of faith which connect with today’s workplace e.g. Why does work matter? What gives work purpose and meaning? How do ambition and doing work the right way fit together? The course content is from management theorists and from the Christian tradition and is open to everyone of all faiths and none.

Written and led by James Bright, this free series for staff will be held at Livingstone Hall, Parkstone United Reformed Church, Commercial Road, Poole BH14 0JW, just a few minutes walk from the Civic Centre. On Mondays from 3rd June 2013 you can try the benefits of just half an hour of led meditation and stillness in a spacious room within Creekmoor Public Library 34, Northmead Drive, Creekmoor BH17 7XZ. Sessions will run from 1.15-1.45pm on Mondays in term time.
Working in partnership with Christ Church Creekmoor the sessions include meditation and contemplation from the Christian tradition. Free and open to all faiths and none.
